Complete 3D production model ahead of on-site construction

The municipality of Frederiksberg is building a new culture and movement house in the new part of the town called Flintholm. CN3 is delivering the cut & bend schedules for the 4,000-m2 building. The concrete structure is cast in place, which requires precise and thorough cut & bend schedules to be built productively.

From 2D drawings and a LOD300 3D model CN3 delivered a consistent and precise 3D Production model at LOD400, which the cut and bend schedules were made.

By creating a 3D Production model before construction is started, all structural elements will be in compliance when they arrive on site. Any design issues will be handled in a collaboration between contractor, designer and CN3 to make the construction buildable. The 3D Production Model is continuously being updated to be in compliance with any design changes and optimizations made by the contractor.
