DTU project

At CN3 it is important to us to contribute to the shaping of tomorrow’s construction industry. Besides being frontrunners when it comes to new technology, we also teach the engineers of the future. Since September we have taught a Virtual Design and Construction course at The Technical University of Denmark.

When the semester comes to an end the students will be able to understand and analyze complex geometry, transform 2D material into detailed spatial models, create digital parametric building structures using visual programming tools, develop digital production data based on 3D models, and create physical models by 3D printing and laser cutting.

For the final project, the students will develop their own parametric design projects using methods, techniques and tools from throughout the course.
